Handbuilding and Glazing Ceramics Classes
All classes are held at Herzbergstraße 125, Lichtenberg, 10365 Berlin, in a working artist studio used by myself,
and our collective of ceramic artists, Another Space.
No previous experience is required , beginners are very welcome! All classes are taught in English.
Ceramics is a two-step process.
In the first session we make the pieces, and after they are fired in the kiln you can return for a glazing class to finish them with color.
Ceramic Handbuilding Workshop
(2 hours)
In the class you will be taught three handbuilding techniques:
- coiling
- pinch pot
- slab building
You will have time to experiment with the techniques and create up to two ceramic pieces.

Thursday, 19th March, 6.30pm-8.30pm
Sunday, 22nd March 2pm - 4pm
Pieces will be ready for glazing approximately 3-4 weeks after the handbuilding workshop.
Ceramic Glazing Session (2 hours)
Once your pieces have been fired, you can return to the studio to glaze your work.
In this class you will learn how to apply glaze and choose from a variety of colours and textures to finish your ceramics.

* please note, if any glaze runs from the pieces onto the kiln shelves you will be charged an extra 10€ for repair costs.
